International Conference on Computer Science

Started in 1990, this conference was mainly focused on the latest developments in computer science and information technology that had a significant impact on education. Along the years a number of important issues and themes were emphasized, like computers&education, Internet communications, multimedia applications, mobile computing, etc. Today SzamOkt is a regional forum for different kind of specialists, interested in computer science and information technology: teachers, students, university professors, users, researchers, or entrepreneurs. The conference is not specialized on a narrow field of computer science, its goal is to cover a wider range of topics in order to inform its participants about new tendencies, trends and ITC technologies. This conference grew into a forum where Hungarian language speaker professionals can share and discuss their latest experiences in the research and teaching of computer science.

Because of the many overlapping topics between the fields of computer science and energetics/electrical engineering, for the past few years, these two conferences have been organized together.
